... State of NH Boating Information: In addition to Eastman fees, boats 12 feet or longer and all boats with motors must be registered with the State of NH. Bob's Beacon Marina, located on Route 103 in Newbury, NH can provide this service.

Equipment required by State of NH

Lifesaving equipment (life jackets & vests) ALL boats - power, sail, canoes, kayaks, windsurfers, etc. MUST have ONE Coast Guard approved flotation device for each person aboard. Boats 16 feet or over must have one throwable life ring or float cushion in addition to one life jacket for each individual aboard.
Fire Extinguisher - all motor boats must carry Type B portable fire extinguishers. A-B-C type extinguishers are also acceptable.
Horn or Whistle - all motorboats must carry a recognizable warning or signal horn.
Lights - all boats must carry working lights if operating at night.
