Also located about 20 minutes south of the Upper Valley; an area nestled on the Connecticut River of NH and Vermont comprised of the towns of Lebanon, Hanover, Norwich and Hartford. In this region enjoy; dining, shopping, the arts and nightlife. AND of course, even more recreation!

Or rent a boat?
Boat rentals available at the South Cove Activity Center. You can rent a canoe, kayak and even a sunfish. There are three islands centered in Eastman Lake, one of them serves as a landing point for boaters to rest, picnic, and enjoy the solitude of the island.

6 Sandy beaches to choose from or swim year - round at the indoor pool.
Season or daily passes are required for the pool and can be purchased at the activity center. Hours of Operation are Daily 5 AM - 9 PM

There are locker rooms, showers and restrooms. Season pass holders are given an access card. Cost of the access card is $10.
The recreation center offers private swim lessons, water aerobics and sauna.

A program designed to offer adventure and community team building activities such as fitness, kayaking, survival skills, ecology and more.

Rent a canoe and paddle out into Eastman's pristinge two mile lake, home of some great fishing. The lake has three islands. Watch the loon's rest on the smallest island complete with a "raft" offering them a predator free environment to rest.
Pristine, 3 - 3/4 star, semi-private, undiscovered 18 hole golf course. Includes a fully equipped shop which includes demos for Callaway, Cleveland and Ping Golf Equipment, driving range and practice area. Scroll for rates.

If skiing isn't your thing, hop over to the groomed sledding hill on the 9th fairway, grab your skates and slide on over to the pond on the 11th fairway adjacent to the cross country center - complete with lights for moonlight skaing! OR, rent some snowshoes from the rec center and enjoy a nice hike through the pristine natural setting of Eastman.
