November 05 - Book Swap 5:30 - 7 pm in the Barn.
November 10 - Turkey Trot 5 Mile Run & 2 Mile Walk, 10 am at The Center. Open to ages 12 and older. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Run starts at 10 am. Proceeds used to buy Thanksgiving dinner for area needy families. $12 Pre-Registration, $14 Race day, $25 Families. (Includes awards luncheon )
November 18 - Van Trip to Portsmouth, NH & Kittery, ME Start your holiday shopping early. Depart at 8 am from the South Cove Activity Center. Cost $15/person.

December 01 - Cross Country Center opening day. 9 am at the Cross Country Center. Sales on cross country ski gear, apparel and free tune-ups!
December 03 - Holiday Arrangement Workshop at South Cove Activity Center. Create a Holiday Arrangement with a staff member from Bloemenwinkel Florist. Space is limited, call to reserve early.
December 04 - Holiday Wreath Workshop 8 - 10:30 am or 2 - 4:30 pm at the South Cove Activity Center. Bring your own decorations. Recreation will supply the wire, greens and ribbon. $6/wreath.
December 05 - Holiday Wreath Workshop Day 2 at the South Cove Activity Center. Register for either 8 - 3 - 5:30 pm or 6 - 8:30 pm.
December 05 - Hanukkah Party 4 - 6 pm at Tallulah's for games, music and lighting the Menorah.
December 11 - Graham Cracker Houses 3:30 - 5:30 pm at the South Cove Activity Center. Create your own winter wonderland out of candy, frosting and graham crackers. A great after school activity.
December 11 - Holiday Cookie Swap 6 - 7 pm at the South Cove Activity Center. Make copies of your favorite Christmas Cookie recipe, cook up a batch and bring 4 dozen for the swap.
December 21 - Moonlight Ski/Snowshoe Potluck 6 pm at Tallulah's. Enjoy a casual potluck dinner after we complete a ski/snowshoe along beginner trails by the light of the moon. Dinner held regardless of snow conditions.
December 27 - Kid's Activity - a planned activity for kids, weather permitting. Call Recreation for more info. 863-6772
December 30 - Breakfast at the John's Glen Hut. Join Recreation for a Continental breakfast in John's Glenn. Ski out on our new connector trail, Andy's Alley.

January 12 - Women's Ski Clinic - 9 am at the Cross Country Center. Open to all women interested in expanding their cross country ski skills. Call 863-4500 for more info.
January 18 - Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe 6 pm at The Center. Enjoy dinner then ski or snowshoe beginner trails by the light of the moon. Dinner held regardless of weather. Reserve by Jan. 16th. 863-4500
January 20 - Eastman's Nordic Nibbles - Ski and snowshoe along a set course that will be offering various delectables from local Restaurants. A Reservation ONLY event. 863-4500

February 08 - David's House Dinner, Auction & Dance A new event this year to benefit David's House. Dinner in the Draper Room and a live merchandise auction followed by a dance! Call recreation to reserve, 863-6772
February 09 - David's House Family Winter Fest & Chili Cook-Off 10 am - 2 pm at the Cross Country Center. Enjoy a fun filled day with activities including ice skating, sledding and skiing to benefit David's House. Plan to attend the Chili Cook-Off at Noon as well.
February 09 - ROSSIGNOL Demo Day at the Cross Country Center, 9 am - 4 pm. Try out Rossignol skis as you explore Eastman's trails.
February 18/20 - Kid's Art Camp A 2 day camp led by Megan Cardillo, a local artist from N. Sutton. You will need to be enrolled for both days in order to complete your projects. Call Recreation for more details. 863-6772

February 29 - Weekend Cross Country Ski Trip - A 2 night stay at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Trip departs on Friday and returns Sunday. Enjoy fabulous cross country skiing with onsite lodging. Call Recreation 863-6772.

March 08 - 5K & 10K Ski Race 10 am at the Cross Country Center open to ages 12 and up. Registration starts at 8:30 am. Lunch and awards ceremony will be held after the races. Contact Cross Country Center 863-4500 for entry forms/details.
March 16 - St. Patrick's Day Family BBQ 11 am at the Cross Country Center. Celebrate one of America's most beloved holidays by grilling out. All participants wearing green will receive a free day pass for next year's ski season.
March 20 - Toddler Easter Egg Hunt - 3:30 pm at South Cove Activity Center. Bring 5 eggs filled with non-candy items for each participant. Eggs will be hidden by the Easter Bunny during a Story Time for children. Each child will then hunt for 5 eggs. Open to toddlers up to 4 years of age. Call Recreation 863-6772 for more details.
March 21 - Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe 6 pm at Tallulah's. Come enjoy a dinner and a casual ski/snowshoe along beginner trails by the light of the moon. Reserve 863-4500 by Mar. 19th. Dinner held regardless of weather.

April 12 - Earth Day Celebration, Get together with your Special Place for a clean up in your neighborhood or come down to South Cove and help us get ready for the Spring & Summer Seasons.
